In the early 1800’s Pastora Rodriquez and Geronimo Falco moved from Havana, Cuba to Key West, FL and birth four sons Waukin Falco (1834)Amelio Falco(1841), Rafael Falco(1842) and Antonio Falco. Geronimo was a skilled torcedor (cigar roller), that taught his four sons how to be skilled cigar rollers. Our Great, Great, Great Grandfather Rafael Falco married Valentine Falco-Rodriquez and birth a son named Emilo Falco. Emilo was also taught the cigar roller craftmanship from his father Rafael. Emilo Falco married Julia Valdez and birth three children, Claudina, Barbara and Mario Falco.
In the early 1900’s Thomas Valdez, came to Key West as a merchant marine from Mexico and married Claudina Falco, a Cuban-Key West, Fl native. Thomas and Claudina Valdez had four children Eugene, Francisco, Pedro (Peter) and Julia Valdez (Deane). Julia Valdez (Deane) birth 7 children and the oldest was Thaddeus Thomas Dean, Sr. who married Diane Marie Butler. Thaddeus and Diane Dean birth three children which included Thaddeus Thomas Dean, Jr. the founder and CEO of Cubano Cigars. Thaddeus Thomas Dean Jr. created Cubano Cigars as a legacy tribute to his Cuban Cigar Heritage for generations to come.
